Craig Cotton

I first started playing the guitar when I was about 11 years old, I just learnt three cords A,D & E, The first song I learnt to play and sing was "That's Alright Mama" by Elvis, I practised for hours while my brother Lee pretended to play the drums by tapping his knees, I've always been really into music ever since I can remember, when I was about 4 yrs old my Pap Cotton made me a small version of a double bass, As I got older this bass got passed down through the family, finally ending up with my youngest brother Matthew. I have always liked allot of different styles of music such as Rap, R'n'B, Pop and of course Rock'n'Roll. My favourite artists are......The Backstreet Boys & Another Level and lots of the early Elvis stuff.

My ambition in life is to be a professional musician and to get into the charts with the Badboys.

As well as playing and singing Rock'n'Roll we also enjoy doing some more modern boy band stuff consisting of songs wrote for us by my uncle Ray......At the moment as a band we are trying to learn to sing three part harmonies.....we are very lucky because we get shown and taught the right way by our dads. (the Jets)....

I am personally trying to learn and master different styles of Rock'n'Roll, Currently I am trying to find an effects pedal for my guitar to try and find some different sounds to use in our set.....My biggest influence has got to be my uncle Ray, who helps and teaches me how to play different styles of guitar......

My favourite moment since I have been gigging was playing 3 songs at the "Teddy Boy" weekender in Gt Yarmouth, We went along to watch the Jets and ended up playing, There was a really big crowd and we went down well........I enjoy being in the band and performing..

Thank you for visiting my web page, maybe I will see you at a gig some time....

Craig.
