As a guitarist I have been playing for 20 years now, I first learnt to play at school the three basic R'n'R chords A,D,E but that was my total ability on guitar. At school at the age of 13yrs I preferred to beat the skins and played for our first R'n'R band B.R.A.D. I played drums on our first three records, ever made by the JETS. (Flying Saucers R'n'R/One Hand Loose) by BRAD. (Rockabilly Baby / James Dean and Sleep R'n'R/Hey baby) by the JETS.

From then I  have been totally taken over by the world of guitar, sitting for hours listening to Gene Vincent records trying to copy Cliff Gallup, Joe Maphis, Grady Martin and later on I found more modern country/blues players inspired me. i.e. Brent Mason (Alan Jackson/Shania), Danny Gatton, Dave Edmonds (inc. Micky Gee, Billy Bremner), the blues edge of Jimmy Vaughn (Fabulous Thunderbirds), Jonny Lang (16 year old, Amazing)and lots & lots of others, too many to mention.

People ask me what equipment I use! on stage to get my sound, well the main guitar I use is a bit of a botch job really. I call it my prototype. The neck is 1978 rosewood Fender, the body is mid '70s Tokia, the pickups are duel coil Kent Armstrong and the string gauge I use is 9-46, the amp I mainly use is a Peavey Classic 50  2x12, but I have replaced the speakers with celestion G12 vintage, for a warmer tone.

Well that's about it for now, Hope that you enjoyed reading this page and if you did let me know and maybe I can write about my recording and song writing.

Thanks for taking the time.
