This compilation is a consequence of Baz Jones packaging up a load of bands that he thought I should hear - along with a few obvious had-to-be-included-because-without-them-it-just-wouldn't-be-right bands. In the process of making it into a CD, four tracks were left over from the original tape, so a decision was made there and then to make the compilation into a series.

Four months after the tape was first delivered, the CD arrived...
