It's a bit of a bizarre one, this. It was derived from Yolanda getting very excited at finding a website offering samples of Israeli metal bands. So I thought I'd find it. And I did. And before you know it, a compilation of... well, nearly.. the very best Israeli Metal was produced.

I say "nearly" because one of these, the band known as Crossfire, is glam. You heard that right - glam rock in a land where the two halves of the population are knocking seven shades of shit out of each other.

But enjoy the rest.

I fully expect a compilation of metal from Arab and Muslim countries to follow, though this will be considerably harder to get hold of.
