So... what do we all think of what happens in the world of metal? Here's where you find out.
The most up to date reviews are at the top. Most of what is here will be reviews of festivals, though I'll not automatically discard individual gigs.
Earlier reviews with star ratings are marked out of five, whereas any later reviews that I've written (from 2001 onwards) are marked out of ten zaps. Any band notching up the red zap at the end is something special!
There is occasionally the need for a half-zap:
