The Leicestershire Branch of the
   Christian Police Association

Crime to Christ

'Crime to Christ' is a Charity that started in Northamptonshire in 2004 and came to Leicestershire in 2005. Endorsed by the Chief Constable, bespoke Christian magazines are placed in Police cells on a regular basis. They are designed specifically for prisoners to read and feature testimonies of criminals who have turned to Christ and left their life of crime behind. There is information about becoming a Christian, and contact details for further information and support.

We provide a referral system for anyone who comes to us and we liase with Prison Chaplains, the Probation Service, the Prison Fellowship, Churches and other agencies who can provide ongoing support.

The magazines are professionally printed in colour with a 'glossy' finish. They have no staples so they are safe to use. The magazines have a nominal cost, and obviously some get destroyed or worn out. As a Charity we would value any help and support you may be able to offer - please contact the CPA Branch Leader for more information.

Crime to Christ seeks to serve all people, whether or not they have a Christian faith, without discrimination and in a non-judgemental, compassionate way. People will not have any faith forced upon them, nor be forced to join any religious group or church - see the 'Crime to Christ' web site on our 'Links' page.
