Take the kittens out of the water, dry thoroughly, then coat with vegetable oil,
and cover completely with flour or cracker crumbs.

Preheat the oven to 375F.
Or 220c
Place both the kittens on a well greased piece of hickory wood.
(Oak works well, but costs a lot more)
Make sure that you grease the wood on both sides and the edges,
Good, old fashioned Lard works the best.
 Place the kittens in the center of the oven, and bake for 40-45 minutes.
When the kittens are nice and brown, take them out, and let them cool.

When cooled, give the kittens to the dog and eat the wood!

If you did use oak, you got yourself a well overpriced snack
