In August 2002 I underwent Laser eye treatment at Ultralase in Guildford, I was amazed that after a 20 minute procedure (that did not hurt - slightly uncomfortable), and a 30 minute rest in a dark room with a coffee that my eyesight was already better. One hour after entering the laser treatment room I had an eye test, this proved that my eyesight had increased tremendously.

The care and cleanliness are to the highest standard, which was very important to me. The after care was brilliant, a checkup the following week showed that I had 20 20 vision, this was followed by monthly then three monthly checkups.

With eyes I think people do panic a bit but a phone call to Ultralase put my mind at rest, and they are always accommodating if you want to speak or see one of the specialists to check on something.

After my final year checkup I had 20 20 vision, six months after that I went back to my own Optician who tested me at 20 20 again, now twenty months after my operation I have the freedom of not wearing glasses that has enhanced my archery.

When I wore glasses I found I was crooking my neck so that I had the target lined up through the center of the lens of my glasses for a better view, after a full day shooting I had a lot of tension in my neck muscle which had affected my archery.
