E. murinus is very highly strung and can be considered as very aggressive, This tarantula is unique, as its the only known tarantula to have its urticating hairs on its pedipalps, however it's more likely to bite than flick urticating hairs. E. murinus needs very deep substrate and will dig its own burrow. I feed E.murinus 2 or 3 medium / large crickets, once or twice a week, a water dish should be provided. This is not one for beginners.
