| The Watch Committee is charged with :- | |
| (I) The licensing of all stage plays and cinematograph exhibitions. | |
| (2) The licensing of all cabs, and taxis, and drivers, plying for hire. | |
| (3) All matters relating to shop hours. | |
| (4) The control of blind persons, | |
| (5) The control of war charities. | |
| (6) The supervision of the police. | |
