Painting for pleasure. Develop your own style with enthusiasm. Individual guidance and suggestions will be given.

Calligraphy

We are a friendly group getting together to enjoy calligraphy. This year, we are lucky to include occasional tuition sessions with Jane. We look forward to sharing our skills with new members.

Photography

This group aims to help you to take better photos. Whether you have a point-and-shoot compact camera or an SLR, you'll be welcome as we look at photo techniques and share practical down-to-earth advice. There will be occasional local outings for practising new skills.

 Starting Points

An art practical course for inexperienced enthusiasts which provides an introduction to approaches and techniques, including guidance using such materials as pens, pastels, pencil crayons, water colours and gouache paints. Members are asked to bring along certain materials and/or objects from which to develop guided work.

Progressions

This is a relaxed and friendly self help group. We choose a different subject or technique for every meeting and make time to discuss the development of our work. This group is suitable for all abilities.

Painting and Drawing 1

This group has a leader who wishes to share her enthusiasm for art, with a friendly and informal approach. Beginners very welcome. Everyone has the choice to work in oils, watercolours, pastels, etc.
