The CODE OF PRACTICE for Muzzle Loading Arms

This Code of Practice was originally conceived as a manual to support the courses for range officers that the author was formulating on behalf of the MLAGB and the NRA.  It has grown into a full guidance document for target shooting with muzzle loading arms of all types, supported by all the senior UK shooting associations whose members may have an interest in muzzle loading arms.  It provides the necessary information for the locally appointed club range officer through to one in charge of a full international, as well as the needs of the ordinary club shooter. The first part of the COP addresses the multiplicity of information that must be at the finger-tips of the competent muzzle loading target shooter,, whilst the second part lists some 30 courses of fire for muzzle loading arms of all kinds, including single shot pistols, revolvers, muskets and rifles, with representative courses of fire for percussion, flintlock and matchlock arms.

Produced as a paperback in A4 format, the manual has over 80 packed pages, with numerous computer generated line drawings and illustrations.
