whether mail is being sent or received at the time...
Sending mail

To resolve the problem...
- Make sure that a valid Internet connection has
been established (able to browse)
- Check that no large messages are blocking the
sending and/or receiving process
- Recreate
the mail account through Tools > Accounts
- Compact
the Database
- Dump normal
connection preferences and refresh
