Coaching Day with the Foden's Band - 2006

To help the bands prepare for their forthcoming contests - the Boosey & Hawkes National Youth Brass Band Championships at the RNCM on Sunday 9th April, we asked the leading players from the Foden's Band to come down, as they did last year, and give the bands the benefit of their experience.

They were here to assist the Musical Directors of the bands - James Holt of Intermediate and Colin Duxbury of Senior in getting that little bit more out of the players - hopefully enabling a "good" performance to become an "excellent" performance.

Each coach ran two "sectional" sessions, one for each of the two bands and here are some pictures of those sessions.
