Tameside Contest. Dukinfield Town Hall. 9 Competing Bands

23rd  November  :

Results:
1. Youth Brass 2000 (Pete Collins) - 192 points
2. Poynton Youth (Andy Hirst) - 190 points
3. Bare Trees Community (John Collins) - 189 points
4. Smithills School (Chris Wormald) - 188 points 

5. Stockport Schools' Senior Brass Band (Phil Pavey) - 187 points.

An excellent performance from all members of the band. A programme which was very entertaining and well appreciated by the audience. A day to remember.  REPORT

6th April 2006 - National Youth Championships of Great Britain

The band came a very creditable second in the County section of this competition winning a trophy and a Gold certificate. Report and pictures available here

25th March 2006 - Concert at the Salvation Army - Heaton Moor

The first outing for a while for the Junior Band - backed up by the Senior Band. It was cozy but everyone enjoyed themselves. Pictures available here.
