About SSBB

Our Philosophy and Ethos

SSBB has been established since 1978.   Over the years we have given thousands of children an opportunity to learn to play music and develop.  We welcome all standards and some of our players have gone on to play at the highest levels, as well as having players who play “just for fun”. 

SSBB is a friendly organisation, run by volunteers and has a real family feel to it.

We also give our players the opportunity to develop responsibility and train them to be reliable band members, working together as a team.  Our MDs expect the highest standards of behavior and commitment and in return our young players are justifiably proud to be a part of SSBB.
