LOCATION & CLUB INFO.

The club is located in Cheadle Village Hall on Brook Road off Church Street in Cheadle village Nr Stockport. Map shown below. There is limited car parking at the front of the club. There is power available for all tables and there is also a small tuck shop.

The circuit is a removable indoor circuit which allows for a different track layout every week. The track is laid out on carpet The track covers an area of 14 metres by 7.2 metres. Yes, its small, but that is the appeal - hot motors and good nicads cannot disguise a bad driver. If you are good at setting your car up and driving it accurately you will be fast, even if you only use fairly basic equipment. Even a Tamiya TL-01 has won the A final with a good driver at the sticks. The club has a regular turnout of 25-30 people most of which come every week without fail. The club has a very friendly atmosphere, and enjoying your racing is more important than winning. Help is always at hand from any of the drivers if you have problems with your car, and anyone will answer any questions you might have.

The club is run on a Thursday evening with racing starting at 7.30 till 10.00. Booking in starts at 7.00pm and costs £2.00 for the night. For this you will get 4 heats and a final. There is no membership fee to join and all are welcome.
