Clifton Bellringers - Welcome

There are 11 bells in the tower at All Saints Clifton of which 8 are hung for change ringing. the other 3 are hung dead (stationary) and used by the carillon.

We ring every Sunday from 10.15-10.55 am and 6.00-6.30 pm. Practice night is Friday from 7.30-9.00 pm and everyone is welcome. We also ring quarter peals and peals to mark special occasions. Our Tower Captain is Stan Ashton (01462 813340) or email bells@cliftonbellringers.org.uk

The Sound Control Project is now complete

Our sister parish of All Saints Southill has a fine ring of 6 bells. These are rung on the first Sunday of each month from 8.45 - 9.15 am. We are currently teaching some people who will form the first local band at Southill for many years.

Would you like to learn to ring ?

We are happy to teach anyone who interested in learning. You don't have to be super fit or musical. Contact Stan to find out more.

Other Activities (See Archive for previous years activities)

During the year we hold an Annual dinner and an Annual outing as well as several social events. See Events Archive for our past activities.

On August Bank Holiday Monday 2007 our outing took us to Peterborough once again ably organised by Mary and followed by the usual BBQ, this year hosted by Jim and Jean - Very many thanks from us all.
