General:

The Family rumour is that one of Thomas William John Worledge's grandmothers was Spanish. Somehow the name Caractacus comesinto this story. The name Diddemar which is how it is spelt in the church records of her marriage could be De Demar or D'Demar.IE Maria D. Demar or Maria D'demar. As Maria makes her mark on things and doesn't sign one assumes she has no way of knowing if her name is being spelled correctly. So phonetic mistakes arise.This is a common problem. Died of pthisis IE Consumption IE Tuberculosis. Informant Sarah Tooke present at Death Coslany Street.
