All
his life he has been a keen composer for local groups and soloists, and
still keeps his hand in in that direction. He has published books for
music teachers and others. |
|
For most of his life he has been a bridge player, and still plays and teaches the subject to a few private pupils. Other
hobbies are golf, indoor bowls, computer music and reading. Oh - and he
admits to watching television; not too easily these days as he has
almost lost the sight of one eye. |

Most
people remember him as a musician and teacher. Now retired, he has been
a performer in several media, and has been conductor or director of
many groups and societies. |

He and his wife
Betty celebrated their Diamond Wedding in 2006, together with their six
children and sixteen grandchildren. They are always ready to welcome
calls and visits from old friends. |
