From Murcia (San Javier)

Route 1  (Through Cartagena and over mountain pass) *

 A-37 to Cartagena  -  MU332 to Mazarron. - MU603 to Country Club

If you take this route you go straight through Cartagena (OK mid afternoon) the only problem is poor signposting for the MU332.   When you come off the motorway you carry straight on through Cartagena (Carrefour on right) and eventually come to a big roundabout. Go virtually straight across this, road curves to L with police barracks on bend. Turn next right and right again at lights. Follow 332 to Puerto de Mazarron or Mazarron (42k over the hills).
The signs are there, but easy to miss.
There are stunning views over Mazarron bay as you descend.

Follow the signs first for ‘Puerto de Mazarron' then Mazarron  -  Pass through Mazarron  - MU603

Country club is on the right 4km north of Mazarron.

Route 2 (Avoiding Cartagena and mountains)  *

Take the exit from the airport and follow signs for Murcia leading to the C-3319. After 12 km leave the C-3319 at Balsicas (signed Roldan) go round roundabout and back under the C-3319 and follow signs for Roldan and Fuente Alamo.

At Fuente Alamo take the bypass signed MU-602 Alhama de Murcia,  ignor signs for Mazarron which lead you to the mountain route and stay on the MU-602 for 8km through  Cuevas De Reyllo and turn left for Canovas and Mazarron.  Pass through Canovas and after 8km turn left onto the MU-603 signed Mazarron. After 4km you pass through Camposol.

Carry on down the MU603 from Camposol and after 4km you will see Country Club on your left. However it is prohibited to turn left (although many do but the police are sometimes waiting) so carry on to the electricity station on the right and use the road (marked el Pareton to turn round and return to Country Club, now on your right.

From Alicante *

Leave the airport and follow the signs for Murcia these will eventually lead you onto the motorway (no Tolls) and a fast run to Murcia 50km. As you approach Murcia follow the signs for Almeria and Granada when the motorway splits.

After another 30 km you approach Alhama de Murcia there are two sliproads at the Alhama centro exit take the second of these. The exit is marked by a brown 'Bahias de Mazarron"  sign by the first slip but you must take the second slip. MU-602 south. after about 4 km you have to turn R onto the MU-603. After about 17 km you pass through Camposol.

Carry on down the MU603 passing Camposol and eventually you will see Country Club on your left. However it is prohibited to turn left (although many do but the police are sometimes waiting) so carry on to the electricity station on the right and use the road (marked el Pareton to turn round and return to Country Club, now on your right.

*Note - There are many new roads in construction including 3 motorways. This leads to temporary diversions and care is required especially at night. Sometime in 2007 the Cartagena bypass and the Cargena - Vera motorway are due to oped this will give a new fast route from Murcia (San Javier).
