lightweight tents, used by many within the Tandem Club. |

Mountain Safety Research (MSR)
makers of good liquid fuel stoves, ideal for lightweight camping, but not for
the faint hearted. Whisperlite stove
very good for petrol, and the Dragon Fly great for most fuels you can buy on
tour with the added bonus of flame control.
As these use liquid fuels, they are cheap to run providing you avoid
white gas (Colman Fuel - £14 per litre against 78p per for unleaded petrol!) |
