Biography
"Tim C. Taylor lives in a small village
in England with his wife, Melia, and sole
surviving goldfish. He begins each morning idyllically with a riverside
cycle ride to work, and then spoils it by spending the rest of the day
writing technical standards and audit reports. Frankly, he would rather be
writing about big, whooshy starships,
and the intergalactic squid conspiracy. Maybe one day he will combine the
two and write a technical standard for starship production, but in the
meantime he is contented to have had short fiction published in print and
in e-zines."
That's what I put on my covering letters when
I'm submitting to editors... There's more to it than that, of course.
I hail originally from Colchester
in Essex (England), but have lived in Bromham for almost a decade with Melia.
I earn my pay from a software company. In
theory I've been involved in the software process improvement and auditing
area. If terms like 'CMM', 'SEPG', or 'PRINCE2 project assurance' mean
anything to you, then you will know what I do.
