This first picture shows a fairly standard version of the "AD062 Multimixer":
One of the key features was the versatility of the range with a choice of three different types of input modules and ancillary modules such as a stereo compressor/limiter, communications modules, etc. The quantity of input modules could also be varied to order, typically 8, 10, 12, 14 or 16.
A choice of long or short stroke faders was offered, the short are shown here and the long in the next picture. All of these mixers were available fitted with EBU or BBC standard Peak program meters as shown here or VU meters as shown below. |
The following is a variation of this same design for use in an outside broadcast van:

The final picture is of the Multimixer's little brother, the Pico:
Like its big brother, the Pico was also available with different quantities of input module, typically 6, 8 or 10 and a choice of meter types.
A simplified version of the Multimixer's communications module was a permanent feature of the Pico's output module. |
