Take Two
Take Two are a male singing duo, comprising Mike and Harry, who perform to backing tracks or with live musicians. They can provide musical spots or complete evenings in the theme of: Frank Sinatra tribute, Big band standards, World War 2 songs, and Rock and Roll, plus others. They are experienced comperes and can also provide party music. As such, they can host a complete wedding reception, birthday party or similar.
Experience
Mike and Harry were brought up on big band music and have been singing this type of music for many years. They have accumulated a vast knowledge of well known songs by all the famous bands. Between them they have experience of performing on large boats, such as the QE2, singing with big bands, and singing alongside such stars as Ruby Murray and Charlie Williams. They adopted the name Take Two over 20 years ago and have performed together at a huge variety of venues.
Versatility
Take Two have built up an extensive library of backing tracks, many of these being of the greatest bands of all eras. However, they regularly sing with live musicians and can arrange the hire of a small group, according to needs and cost.
Their collection of music contains not only backing tracks but also a wide variety of music, including modern disco, suitable for parties for all ages. This collection of music together with their ability and experience in compering makes them the complete two-man show.
Their amplification equipment is suitable for small and large rooms and they use both Mini disc and CD players as music sources, and have the latest radio microphones.
