Scunny's

Thought I would just add a few photo's of some ammonites that I have found at Scunthorpe Ironstone quarries. The larger Eparietites I only found a few month's ago while on a trip with Hull Geological Society.

This was originally about 11inch's wide but the outer chamber was that damaged and missing that I had to reduce it to aprox 8inch's.

Quite a lot of colours when it was finally polished.

I had to remount these two as the original matrix they were found in was very weathered and rotten.
