Here are a couple of bone blocks that I prepared earlier this year. They were both started off in acid and then had extensive pen work, finishing of with a fine pen texture to the matrix.

This particular block was quite interesting it contains quite a lot of bone including part of the jaw and two teeth. It has just had it's first session in acid at this point.

You can now start to see some of the bone emerging, right at the bottom left you can see one of the teeth. At this point the block has had several hours of acid bath with some pen work in between.

At this point the block is not far from finished, you can now see the other tooth appearing under part of the jaw. The block will now be finished with a HD pen and the matrix textured with a fine pen.

The block finished and on my sideboard.

This block which I got of a friend was a bit of a surprise. After a few hours of acid and a bit of pen work ribs started to appear on the outer edges.

A closer view of some of the ribs.

The finished block, some nice bones including a neural arch just below the vertebrae.

Both blocks on display with a Ichthyosaur lower jaw in a shale block that I acquired from a well known dealer.
