I have published two novels (The Arrogance of Women and A Rational Man) and teach a range of Creative Writing courses for the University of Cambridge Institute of Continuing Education,
including a 2 year Certificate in Creative Writing. CLICK HERE for the University's website.
In addition to this I have been involved in various schemes including Eastern Arts 'Write Out
Loud' and have coordinated judging for Granada t.v. & Woman magazine short
story competition.
I also work in schools as both a writer and storyteller. For enquiries and to make bookings,

When working with children (and adults,
for that matter!) my primary concern is to get them to flex their creative
muscle. I believe that active writers make
active readers and to this end I encourage children to explore the magic
of language, to re-imagine their personal landscapes and use all their senses
and creative power to tell their stories in the most
exciting and interesting way.

Over the past few years I have undertaken range of storytelling activities including guest appearances at the Cambridge Folk Festival. In addition, myself and fellow storyteller
Malcolm Busby have been the recipients of Escalator Arts Funding which provided training with
one of the country's top storytellers, Hugh Lupton. The outcome was NANCY THE WATERMAN, a series of
stories set in and around Cambridge. If you would like further details
of NANCY, click here. To Enquire about BOOKINGS,
