Information for games at Oxford
Oxford Ice Rink, Oxpens Road, Oxford OX1 1RX. 01865 467000.
Oxford is easy to get to provided you take the right turning off of the ring road. Give yourself at least an hour and a half to get there.

Take the M40 out of London, turn off at Jct 8 onto the A40 and after a few miles you come to the ring road (McDonalds on your left - useful for the return journey). Turn left onto the ring road and drive around the south of the city, over several roundabouts. After the Littlemore roundabout (with a turning to Iffley) directions to the city centre start appearing: at the next roundabout you are kept on the ring road but at the one after the City Centre sign directs you to a right turning off the main road. As you go onto this road you pass another sign that includes the name Grandpont, which confirms you've taken the correct turning. There are a few sets of traffic lights as you go along but the direction into the city is pretty obvious. When you go over the bridge (Grandpont itself) you are faced with a one way system and have to bear left. Keep on the left as you come to the next traffic lights and eventually you come to the ice rink on the left. There is parking outside, but it's fairly pricey (though there's nowhere else!).

Peckish afterwards? If you follow the same route back you'll see a McDonalds where you turn off the ring road onto the A40. Go down the A40 about 100 yards and you'll be able to do a U-turn. Head back to the roundabout and there's a little road to the left to take you off the main carriageway. For KFC, Burger King or posh coffee carry on towards the M40 and use the services just before you join the motorway.
