Planet Ice Arena, Leisure Plaza, 1 South Row, Milton Keynes, MK9 1BL. 01908 696696. Getting to Milton Keynes is like getting to Peterborough - it's easy if you count the roundabouts. It can be done in 2 hours from Streatham if the traffic's being kind, but it might be wise to allow an extra half hour. If Euston is convenient, it's just a half-hour on the train and the rink is within a hundred metres of Milton Keynes Central station.

I assume you can get yourself onto the M1. Come off at Junction 14, turning left towards Milton Keynes. At the first roundabout after the motorway junction, turn right onto the A509. Now you go straight across eight roundabouts and turn left at the ninth into Grafton Gate. (All the roundabouts have names on signs directly in front of you as you approach. You want North Grafton Roundabout. If you lose count of the roundabouts or miss the name, you'll know you've gone too far because the tenth roundabout is the junction with the A5. You can just go right round it and get back to North Grafton Roundabout.)

In Grafton Gate you have another series of little roundabouts. Go straight over the first two and turn right at the third (Avebury Roundabout) - there is a sign for the Leisure Plaza. Drive past a big Argos and the rink is on the left. There's plenty of free parking at the rink.
