Gillingham Ice Bowl, Ambley Road, Gillingham Business Park, Gillingham, Kent ME8 0PP. 01634 388477. Invicta play at Gillingham, and it usually takes one and a half to two hours from Streatham. These instruction have been filched with permission from their website.

Get onto the M2 and at Junction 4 head off left (north). Follow the Brown Tourism Signs for the Ice Rink along the A278. Continue across the first roundabout, 2nd exit (Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre). At the next roundabout take the first exit (left). You immediately come onto a smaller roundabout; take the 2nd exit (right). Follow Ambley Road to the next roundabout. Take the 2nd exit (right) at the Roundabout and continue on Ambley Road. The Ice Bowl is approx 200 yards on the left with plenty of free parking.

Peckish afterwards? I've marked the Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre on the map (see above) because it's easy to get to and it has several fast food outlets (McDonalds, Burger King, KFC). Let me know if you find somewhere better.
