To be honest, I've not been to the new rink, and we usually get a coach when we go anyway. But just in case you need to make your own way there, I think the best way will be to carry on the M4 past the main Cardiff turning to Junction 33, turning left (South) onto the A4232 towards Penarth and Barry. After about three miles there's a large roundabout where the A48 crosses. Carry on the A4232 (second exit) which takes you in to Cardiff Bay. It becomes the Grangetown Link and I'm not sure where the exits are, but I don't doubt that the rink will be signposted. It looks as though you turn off left where the A4505 turns off right, then bear round to the right to go underneath the Grangetown Link and then on to the Planet Ice Arena.
