The Redskins      FM Conway

Coaching staff

(Barry Spours)

Head Coach: Barry Spours

Barry returned to the Redskins in 2007 as a forward after an incredible 18 year absence - he had been netminder in the 1980’s Redskins squad. He had retired from league hockey as a player but maintained his skills through his successful Night-Wolves Rec team and as assisitant coach for the 2008-09 season. This year he has stepped up to the big job!

Management

(Graham D'Anger)

Team Manager: Graham D'Anger

Graham is responsible for general management of the organisation and team, liaising with the English Ice Hockey Association on player or game issues and matters of concern, making the space for Barry to focus on strategy and winning. He is doubly busy as he is also vice-chairman of the Supporters’ Club

(Don Young)

Assistant Manager: Don Young.

Don is the person you will see around the rink ensuring that the players, officials and Supporters’ Club all have the space and equipment to discharge their respective roles. The smooth running of the event is all down to him and his hand picked team. He is also very active publicizing the Club.

The Squad

No.13: Chris Rasmussen, forward.

A tough, hardworking forward who has matured through the Streatham junior set-up to the Redskins, where he has steadily improved each season. He’s hard-hitting and takes no nonsense, has a big shot and can power his way through the most obstructive defence.
