Training
- Players should arrive at the ice rink for training sessions at the appointed time as indicated by their team manager. Players for matches are selected on the basis of regular attendance as well as ability.
Dressing Room
- Whenever training, or playing at home or away, the Dressing Room is the team's home. Players will be expected to keep it clean whilst they are using it, and leave it clean and tidy when they leave.
- When changing for matches, once players have put on their skates, they should remain seated until told otherwise.
Games
- Players must listen to the person in charge of the bench, whether manager or coach. The person in charge makes the teams' decisions and has the final say on matters relating to the match.
- Players must remain seated during the game on the bench provided.
- Players are not authorised to shout or talk to the referee at any time during or after the game.
Bullying
- The Club actively supports and anti-bullying policy. Bullying of any type (physical verbal or emotional) will not be tolerated. Any incidents of bullying will be treated in a serious manner.
Language
- The Club will not tolerate the use of bad, abusive, sexist or racist language at any time, on or off the ice.
Substance Abuse
- No player will bring any type of drugs, solvents or alcohol into the Streatham Ice Arena, on to the team bus, or to any rink. The coaches and managers should be made aware of any prescribed medicine that any player is using.
Parents/Carers- Game Discipline
- Parents/carers and friends should leave the dressing room when asked to by the managers and coaches.
- Parents and friends must not interfere with how the bench is being run, or talk to the players during a match or training session, unless authorised by the bench coach or manager.
- Parents and friends are not authorised to shout or talk to the referee at any time during or after a game.
Conclusion
- All players are asked to act in a well behaved and responsible manner at all times: this includes travelling to and from away-games, during public skating sessions, as well as at training sessions and games.
