MICK ROBERTS
Front Man/Rhythm guitarist Mick Roberts has played extensively on the rockabilly circuit, these last 20 years, with bands such as War Lord and Leicester based Southern Bound.
Whilst with Southern Bound, Mick swapped from Rhythm Guitar to Double Bass. Southern Bound played the UK and Europe rocking circuit for the whole of the ‘90s with great success.
Sadly the name of the band was prophetic, in that Mick moved from Leicester to Southend. With Darren and Gary still living in Leicester the logistics of running the band became impossible and sadly the band split up.
Mick had met the Roaming Mad Rat aka Spike, whilst with Southern Bound and Spike wanted to form his own band, the Rat Pack. With the help of Phil, B17‘s drummer and Paul and Kevin from the Alabama Slammers the Rat Pack was formed.
