Born in 1953, I was a bit young for the 1960's but feel privileged to have been there and part of that very special decade. What was special about the 1960's? well we had the Beatles and of course the album Sg Peppers, man walked on the moon, England won the world cup, president Kennedy was assassinated,  Marilyn Monroe passed away, there was Andy Warhol.........I as a child in the early 1960's used to hang about with another boy who went on in the 1970's and 80's to become one of the worlds best rock vocalists....then at the end of the 1960's I met Antoni Sulek who's art work has now started to become very collectable.

I have an on, off, love affair with doing art work, and have at the moment decided to take up oil painting.

My favourite artist's are Vincent Van Gogh, Bernard Buffet, Picasso, Soutine, Hundertwasser, Schiele, Basquiat, Matisse, Chagall, H R Giger Klimt,  the work of David Penprase, and of course Antoni Sulek.

I also like the work of the poet Kathleen Raine

Music also plays a big part in my life . I am a big fan of Mike Oldfield  Djam Karet, God is an Astronaut, The Beatles, Joni Mitchell, Stravinsky's Firebird, and the work of Keith Jarret.

" Work! intoxication! brain racking! chewing, eating, gorging, rooting up! rapturous birth pangs! jabbing of the brush, preferably right through the canvas. Trampling on paint tubes......... "   " Max Pechstien 1920 "
