Spent
an enjoyable day with Uncle Alan and Aunt Margaret. After an incredible lunch

views across the City of Edinburgh.
Charlotte in Alan and Margaret's garden.

We took a different route home, travelling down the A68 and eventually rejoining the A1 near Newcastle. We stopped briefly at Carter Bar border viewpoint on the way home, to listen to a lone bagpiper and take in the view. Just below Newcastle we stopped again for another picnic at the Angel of the North.
