Summary

Narrow gauge railway in South West Wales. Small, friendly feel. Very child friendly. Loved the miniature railway as much as the main one.

Site

Simple but clean. Reasonable size when you include the play areas.

Ride

Two miles along the Teifi river valley edge, through woods. Stops at a woodland halt to allow a short walk to view the bridge and waterfall.

Sgt Murphy

Engines 

Just three :

• Sgt Murphy (1918) : Gave us a ride.
• Alan George (1894) : Sprayed daddy with dirty steam !
• Sammy (1959) : The diesel

Rolling Stock

Only purpose built carriages

Engine Shed

Small, but was allowed to explore.

Museum

Tiny : Old photos in a converted guard van.

Shop

Medium sized.

Catering

Good. Nice friendly lady !

Toilets

Good, but I locked myself in ! A nice man had to climb over the wall to let me out !

Other Facilities

• Nature Trail and Country Walks. Walk is alongside the track up to the woodland halt. Very nice !
• 2 Children's Play Areas : Very simple, but how many other sites provide swings !
• Picnic Area
• Miniature Railway
