Their Website :- Swindon & Cricklade Railway
A very small but friendly line. The few staff chatted and seemed proud of what little they had. Site was a bit tatty & it didn't help we went on a wet and muddy day.

Covering my ears as the engine whistles |
Site where you arrive and park was muddy and tatty. However the other station was new, purpose built, and had an impressive engine shed under construction. They have plans to build another station nearer Swindon.
There was no timetable, they just went when they felt they had enough passengers. The ride was so short it was a good job there was a bend in the track, or you could wave to people waiting at the other station !
Only saw a small steam engine Richard Trevenick and a diesel.
Nice, old style carriages.
Still being built, but it was impressive and they are clearly proud of it. We had a guided tour.
The leaflets said there was one, but we must have missed it.
In a small portacabin. Sold a few bits of railway stuff and anything else that would raise a few pence !
Functional and basic. Felt like a truckers cafe. Daddy said the lemon meringue pie was good !
Ladies was OK, but the Gents was disgusting.
The man in he ticket office gave me my own ticket when I arrived, and a postcard when I left !
