Small, cramped, but friendly. We only spent 45 minutes there in the pouring rain, but felt we did everything.

Running around at Park Halt |
A small station with engine shed and sidings, right next to the M621.
Short, straight & slightly up hill, between a modern industrial site and scrub land (Middleton Park). Very boring. There's a run-around loop in the middle of a field and you're taken back. About 25 minutes in total.
A few in the sidings, just one under steam.

Being pulled back in the rain |
Two "carriages". They actually seemed like converted guards vans. However the viewing platform at the back was great when the engine was coupled up at that end and pulled us back to the station.
Small, but tidy and some nice displays.
A few nice displays in the engine shed.
About half the station building, but seemed strangely empty of interesting stuff.
None seen. Picnic benches by the sidings.
Not checked.
None.
Of the two 'carriages' on our train, one was holding a birthday party.
When we went there was a lot of Halloween themeing, including a competition and two witches ! While Daddy doesn't like that sort of thing, it shows they were trying to make it interesting for Children.
