Their Website :- UK Heritage Railway : Llanberis Lake Railway
Nice little railway, although small and plain. Good views of Snowdon & a nature trail and adventure playground half way along it.
The main site is within Parc Padarn, Llanberis. Parc Padarn is a country park and also contains the Welsh Slate Museum.
Two and a bit miles, all along the edge of the lake with beautiful views of the lake with Snowdon behind it. Goes all the way to the end, turns straight around, and stops at Cei Llydran. There is an adventure playground and a nature trail here (costs extra). At the top of the hill is a nice little teashop.

View from the bridge |
Sizable 'Welsh Slate Museum' is nearby, and while it contains trains, is nothing to do with the railway.
More like a newspaper stand, but selling books and toys.
Cafe at the main station, but we didn't use it.
Ate sandwiches by the lake at Cei Llydan, watching the trains and trying to skim stones across the lake.
Had a nice cup tea at the top of the hill at Cei Llydan, but strictly speaking this is nothing to do with the railway.
Not tested.
