Their Website :- Leighton Buzzard Railway
A long narrow gauge railway which has potential. Alas on our day it was only diesel running !
Main site is in the corner of a park.
The 'destination', Stonehenge Works, was an old stone yard with a few displays of rusty engines and trucks.
A man who works for the railway emailed us and said there are a lot more things at Stonehenge now.
'Cramped' ride between the backs of houses, crossing several footpaths and roads. It then has a sharp right hand curve, and runs alongside a road and fields to Stonehenge Works.
Only saw the diesel, but I know they've got lots of Steam Engines.
The man who emailed us and said we were very unlucky to go on a diesel only day and that they normally run at least one steam engine a day.
I assume they are purpose built.
Didn't seem to be allowed in, but the man who emailed us said you can visit by request.
None
Medium size, but seemed to sell as many novelties as Train related stuff.
I don't remember any, but the man who emailed us said there's a buffet called Dobbers at Pages Park station.
Basic but functional.
Next to a park.
