Their Website :- Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway
Despite the reasonable length of track, it felt a small set-up. Little to do or see.

Bolton Abbey Station |
Embsay station was nice with two platforms connected by a footbridge, but yard was messy. Bolton Abbey station was new and clean. It felt rather sterile.
Five miles end to end. Seemed much shorter ! We seemed to go very slowly, even being pulled by two tank engines. Also very noisy !
Only saw the two small tank engines that pulled our train.

View from the footbridge |
Only saw carriages we rode upon. Nothing special.
Didn't seem to be allowed in.
None
A good size for such a small place. Also had an interesting 'junk shop' next door.
Small but cosy. Daddy paid a bit more for his cup of tea, and got to keep the special mug.
Basic
Walk to Bolton Abbey (1 ½ miles away)
Leaflet mentions a picnic area, but we didn't see it.
