Summary

The smallest I've been to. Friendly. 

Site

Minute ! Small platform with just a metal hut (the toilets) and a coach body (the waiting room, booking office and tea room).

Ride

Long, straight ride to nowhere 3 ½ miles from where you started. Does not yet reach Princes Risborough, so it turns round in the middle of nowhere. It goes over a few tiny bridges, a few tiny level crossings and past a cricket field !

Engines

• 0-6-0 Saddle tank : Sir Robert Peel
• DMU (Class 121) : This gave us the ride as the Steam Engine was broken !
• 3 Diesel Locomotives.

Rolling Stock

• 7 Coaches
• 8 Wagons
• 1 Crane
• 1 Trolley

However we didn't get to see any of it as it was all in nearby sidings which you weren't allowed access to.

Engine Shed

None, with no access to view engines in nearby sidings.

Museum

None. A few photos in the carriage as the ticket office and catering.

Shop  

Tiny : One row of seats on board the train ! Mainly 2^nd hand books.

Catering

Tiny, in the coach along with the ticket office and the photo display.

Toilets

Surprisingly good considering the tiny space they are crammed into !

Other Facilities

For such a small set-up, it does a great guide book !

Update

Since I visited, they now have :-

• A station which is a faithful replica of the 1872 original.
• The shop is now in the station.
