Summary

One of the smallest I've been to, second only to Chinnor.

Wallingford

Wallingford

Site

Small area next to platform. Most buildings are porta-cabins. Platform at Wallingford currently only reaches half the length of the train, but there are plans to extend it so that you could walk down and see the engine.  The car park is shared with a Malt factory.

Access to British Rail at Cholsey.

Ride

2 ½ miles straight through boring fields, and across a newly built level crossing to the B.R. Station at Cholsey.

Engines

When I first went, while they were running diesels, I could see a few engines in sidings along the track. However in 1999 they only seem to have diesels.

Rolling Stock

Can see a few trucks and carriages in the sidings along the track.

Engine Shed

None.

Museum

Shop

Medium sized for such a small site.

Catering

Simple but adequate in a converted carriage.

Toilets

Un-tested.

Other Facilities

They gave me a free badge !

Update

According to their web site, it looks as if they'll soon have their own Steam Engine.
