Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Summary

An amazing amount crammed into a small place - one of my favourites.

Visited : October 2002

Comments

I'd always wanted to go to Blackpool Pleasure Beach ever since I saw it in the PC Game Roller Coaster Tycoon.  However when we got there in October 2002 it was still a big surprise.  Some of the rides are really old.  We went on one built in 1904 !

As well as the big rides, there's plenty for Children - including a whole area dedicated to them (you should have seen Mummy & Daddy trying to squeeze into the Zipper Dipper !)

Cost

Cost for Mummy, Daddy and Me £70

We bought Wristbands, but you can get individual tickets.  However this looks quite expensive.

You can enter and walk around for free !

Theming

One or two rides only.  No themed areas.

Cleanliness

Not too bad.  Good toilets.
