Their Website :- London Eye

It's a very big big-wheel in the centre of London between Waterloo railway station and the Houses of Parliament.  You get in a big bubble capsule and just go round looking at the views.  It's sounds boring - but it wasn't.

Mummy and Daddy had been before and took me a year later.  I did a school project on the London Eye later that same year.

Mummy was a bit afraid looking over the edge - but I wasn't.

Building : A giant big wheel next to the old Greater London Council building.  It's clever how you don't go upside down as the cabin you're in goes around on the wheel.

Contents : Just fantastic views of London.  It was a half hour ride and I wasn't bored at all, even though I didn't recognise most of the places Daddy tried to point out to me.

Toilets : Downstairs in the building next door - OK.

Cafe : Not tried myself, but Mum said it was a bit cramped on her last visit..

Shop : Small

Guide Book : Excellent - loads of pictures

Crowds : Not too bad.  The cabin we were in had plenty of room to move about.

Best Bit : The view from the top

Worst Bit : Queuing for the ride photo.

Dad's Comment : Young children will not know the many famous sights you'll see, but they'll hopefully enjoy the ride.
