Their Website :- Fleet Air Arm Museum

We visited the Fleet Air Arm Museum while on Holiday in Devon - although the Museum itself is in Somerset and took longer to drive to than Daddy thought.

After eating lunch in a crowded canteen type restaurant, we went around the museum.  It was a bit of a maze, but a path took us through planes in date order.  We saw loads of different planes - including Concorde !!

I didn't want to go through the aircraft carrier display as I was worried about the Helicopter "ride", so I took the short cut.  The guided tour was just like being on an real aircraft carrier.

We had to rush near the end as we'd lost Mummy.  We were there about three hours and didn't have time to see everything.

Building : Several interconnecting large buildings, including one done out like the inside of an Aircraft Carrier !

Contents : Interesting.

Toilets :  Not used

Cafe : Separate building outside.  Crowded but not bad.

Shop : Smallish.

Guide Book : Good

Crowds : Medium

Best Bit : Concorde

Worst Bit : Losing mummy as she went into the Aircraft Carrier

Dad's Comment : Far bigger and better than we expected - don't get lost !
