We are part of the Anglican Parish of Tilehurst St. Catherine and
Calcot St. Birinus.
Our Parish Purpose is to "Worship God and show that Jesus' love
makes a difference in reaching, serving and caring."
St.Catherine of Siena Church and Centre is a resource for the whole
Parish. Here in worship St. Catherine's congregations seek to meet
with God and with each other. We seek to respond to the living God
active among us.
Our worship is gently Charismatic and using the Gift's the Holy
Spirit gives us we minister in the name of Jesus and see people
brought to greater wholeness in body, mind and spirit.
We have Easter and Summer holiday clubs and weekly activities for
young people of all ages.
There is a on-going programme of reaching out to the Parish through
visiting and prayer request slips.
We love to welcome families into the friendly church family. If you
would like to talk about Thanksgiving and Baptism please contact us
- we are sure that you and your family will enjoy our special ALL
AGE 11.30 service. Here are a growing congregation we meet
informally and enjoy being with God together. In the
informality God moves in presence, power and peace.
Cornwell Community Church offers another Anglican District Church in
the Parish and from October 1st 2007 we have been proud to carry the St.
Birinus name forward as we add yet another District Church to the
Parish. This great figure of mission will be an inspiration to us as
we look for God's plan for the future.
