St. Birinus Church recently celebrated 50 years as a parish church.
From October 1st 2007 a new Parish was formed - The Parish of Tilehurst - St. Catherine and Calcot St. Birinus. This will mean that part of the former parish will be combined with the adjoining parishes of St. Matthew's and St. Michael's. Click here for details of the Parish Boundary changes of 2007.
